In this workshop learn various technical and non-technical aspects of documenting music within a culture in phases of pre-production, production and post-production. The process and the importance of participatory observation during such documentation will be explored. All aspiring and practising documentary film-makers, photographers and music researchers are encouraged to apply.

About the facilitator:
Prasiit Sthapit is a visual storyteller based in Kathmandu. He is currently associated Fuzz Factory Productions, a multimedia collective based in Kathmandu, photo.circle, a platform for photography in Nepal and Photo Kathmandu. He is also the director of Fuzzscape, a platform for cultural documentation with focus on music, archival and storytelling through audio-visual medium.
