Basic Audio Setup for Home Recording: A Primer

This is an introductory hands-on style workshop for setting up a DIY studio at home for audio recording and music making purposes. Rajan Shrestha (Phatcowlee) will guide you through the steps of setting up your home studio, equipment hacks and basic recording techniques using industry standard softwares.
Prerequisites:
01. A laptop computer (preferably with 8GB RAM or more)
02. Earphones (preferably monitoring headphones)

About the facilitator:
Rajan Shrestha (Phatcowlee) is a Kathmandu based inter-disciplinary artist working primarily with music and produces music under the moniker of phatcowlee. One of the founding members of Fuzzscape, a platform for cultural documentation with focus on music, archival and storytelling through audio-visual medium, Rajan is an ethnomusicology scholar.
