MUSICAL PERFORMANCES

Join women from the Chilāncho community as they sing tutāh or Buddhist hymns, considered to be an effective tool to cleanse the noisy mind

12 PM - 2 PM   📍Gulpuli, Gutpau
Pancha Bhajan Khala will perform bhajan or religious songs and chanting with traditional Newari folk instruments

4 PM - 5 PM   📍 Chithu Bihar
A dhimé playing demonstration and an opportunity to learn how to play this essential traditional Newari instrument

4:30 PM - 5:30 PM   📍 Pati, Tanani
The dāphā ensemble of Tanani will play in an open courtyard, a great opportunity for visitors and passers-by to soak up historic musicking
