CONFLUENCE

Music Copyright and Royalty in Nepal
Echoes in the Valley (EITV) Music Conference 2021

EITV is committed to create an engaging platform for the exchange of practices, experiences, research, and philosophies.

This year, we are dedicating a day of conferencing around the theme of music rights, particularly issues of copyright and royalty in Nepal. Through conversations and interactions between stakeholders (musicians, music businesses, educators, policy makers and students), we will explore questions around how and why it is important to obtain just recognition and fair remuneration for the work of any musician. Stakeholders will provide their insights on the current situation in Nepal and discuss ways forward.
